Creating an aspirational showpiece

 

The Nebraska Crossing Outlets marketing team asked us to create a new marketing showpiece for the 2017 holiday season. Our team was tasked with elevating the NEX brand and creating customer awareness.

ELEVATING THE BRAND
The 100-page glossy magazine showcased the mall's outlet brands in an aspirational way and showed customers that the high-end brands they love are right at their fingertips.

STRUCTURED YET AVANTE GARDE
I worked on the project from concept to design as both an art director and designer. As part of the creative team, I collaborated with the creative director to develop an overall concept, story, creative plan, photo shoot directive and shot list. I provided on-site photo art direction and production, working with a team of photographers, models and stylists to produce images. Scenes and flatlays were styled by theme: texture, colorblocking, shadowplay, snowflakes, sparkle.

PULLING IT ALL TOGETHER
I was also responsible for creating the overall design look, working directly with the client and editor to design and produce the final book.
